Baby’s First Festival – Dolls for Grown-ups

Artists from the Hakata Doll Commerce and Industry Cooperative Association have been creating seasonal decorations for over 400 years. In this exhibition they have created with both traditional skills and new flavor over 100 Baby’s First Festival items for display sale. Doll painting display by doll maker during exhibition.

Pottery and Dye Exhibition

Dye made from the grass and wood of Yabe Village in Yame City, and pottery with a local feel from the Gozen Kiln. Over 400 items bursting with spring color on display sale. Pottery painting and weaving class during exhibition (fees apply).
