February this year saw 5 masters of Hakata Ningyo (dolls) newly recognized as holders of Fukuoka Prefecture Intangible Cultural Properties. This interior exhibition houses their accomplished traditional crafts, displayed here in tandem with the Otafuku (plump, cheery woman) dolls set to embellish the venue of the G20 summit with a unique form of decoration.
