On display and sale in this exhibition are items from the “Hakata-oribon” series, made using Hakata-ori textiles with ribbon patterns, along with items from the “Amane” series, featuring arrangements of typical Hakata-ori patterns. The ribbon patterns, which signify bonds between people, are intended to bring a sense of playfulness to adult fashion goods. Amane is an original HAKATA JAPAN line of Hakata-ori, and its cushions and table runners in fresh colors are perfect for the coming season.
