Koishiwara Pottery Cooperative is an organization which aims to pursue new possibilities for Koishiwara Ware and improve techniques while adhering to the traditional methods of Koishiwara Ware. On display and sale in this exhibition are plates, cups and other items from 14 kilns in the Koishiwara Sarayama District belonging to the cooperative. Please come and marvel at the “functional beauty” of works which give full play to the characteristics of each kiln.
