Ground Loom Woven Saki-ori Cloth Exhibition

Saki-ori is a weaving technique in which cloth is sliced into thin strips and woven together with cotton or hemp yarns by hand. On display and sale in this Mother’s Day-themed exhibition are saki-ori bags, pouches and other items decorated with embroidery, raised cloth pictures, decoupage, etc. Also make sure to check out the popular saki-ori calendars.
