"Flowers of the Four Seasons" Exhibition of Works by Kazuhiko Hanada
For more than 30 years, the Hana Kiln has utilized original techniques to create vessels, which are a blend of pottery and porcelain. The kiln employs a mixture of mountain soil from Miyawaka and ground Amakusa stones utilized in Arita ware. This exhibition features new vases, bowls, lidded containers, and tableware painted with watercolor grass and flower motifs long favored by the kiln. These items will also be available for purchase.
