Moriyama Kasuri Kobo & Associates Exhibition

This is an exhibition of new works by five alumni of Kyoto Seika University and the Moriyama Kasuri Kobo, which has been crafting Kurume kasuri woven and dyed fabrics since the 19th century. Among the items on display and available to purchase are Kurume kasuri dyed fabrics and garments, engraved glassware and accessories, and Shuri-hanaori scarves. Come prepared to see traditionally crafted items tailored to a modern lifestyle.
