Les Vents Français, a woodwind ensemble formed by some of the most renowned soloists in the world. In addition to performances of masterpieces such as Poulenc's Sextet and Klughardt's Wind Quintet, the highlight of the program is Dvořák's Sextet, an arrangement of his Piano Quintet No.2 for a woodwind quintet and piano. According to flutist Emmanuel Pahud, "Dvořák's Piano Quintet is brimming with powerful symphonic tones, and we are sure that this arrangement will sound simply amazing!" Needless to say, expectations are running high for how they will deliver this performance.
